By purchasing goods or services from All Auto Parts, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Us

All Auto Parts sells used, recycled, and where available, new aftermarket or replacement motor vehicle parts and accessories. We may also provide related services such as part identification, removal, handling, delivery, and vehicle-related assistance.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, making a payment, requesting a quote, or accepting delivery of any goods from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

3. Product Condition

Most parts sold by All Auto Parts are used or recycled parts unless clearly stated otherwise.

The customer acknowledges that:

  • used parts may show signs of wear, marks, scratches, fading, rust, or cosmetic imperfections

  • parts may differ slightly in appearance from photos or descriptions

  • compatibility is dependent on the customer providing accurate vehicle and part details

  • some parts may require fitting, coding, programming, calibration, or professional installation before use

We will make reasonable efforts to describe parts accurately, but all parts are sold subject to availability and prior sale.

4. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes are subject to:

  • stock availability

  • confirmation of part compatibility

  • correction of clerical or pricing errors

  • freight, handling, and GST where applicable

Prices may change without notice until full payment is received.

5. Orders

An order is only confirmed once we accept it and, where required, payment has been received.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where:

  • the part is no longer available

  • the part was incorrectly priced

  • vehicle or fitment information is incomplete or incorrect

  • we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, or unlawful activity

If an order is cancelled before dispatch, any payment received for the unavailable item will be refunded.

6. Customer Responsibility for Correct Part Selection

The customer is responsible for checking that the part is correct for their vehicle before purchase and before installation.

Customers should provide as much information as possible, including:

  • vehicle make

  • model

  • year

  • VIN or registration number

  • engine size

  • transmission type

  • photos of the existing part where relevant

If the customer orders the wrong part due to incorrect or incomplete information supplied by them, return or exchange will be at our discretion.

7. Payment Terms

Payment must be made in full before goods are released, dispatched, or collected unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We may accept payment by cash, EFTPOS, bank transfer, card, or any other method we nominate.

Any goods remain the property of All Auto Parts until paid for in full.

8. Delivery and Freight

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to courier delays, stock handling, weather, regional delivery limitations, or other causes beyond our control.

The customer must:

  • provide a correct delivery address

  • ensure someone is available to receive the goods where required

  • inspect goods promptly on arrival

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon collection, dispatch, or delivery, whichever occurs first.

Freight charges are generally non-refundable once goods have been dispatched, except where required by law.

9. Collection of Goods

If goods are to be collected, the customer must collect them within a reasonable time after being notified.

We may charge storage or rehandling fees for goods not collected within a reasonable period.

10. Returns and Change of Mind

We do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect selection, or no longer needed items unless we agree otherwise in writing.

If we do agree to accept such a return:

  • the part must be unused and uninstalled

  • it must be returned in the same condition supplied

  • it must be accompanied by proof of purchase

  • freight and handling costs are not refundable

  • a restocking fee may apply

Nothing in this clause excludes any rights the customer may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Faulty Parts and Consumer Rights

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

If you believe a part is faulty, you must:

  • notify us as soon as possible

  • stop using the part

  • provide proof of purchase

  • provide details, photos, and where requested, return the part for inspection

We may inspect the part before deciding whether a repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy is appropriate under law.

12. No Liability for Incorrect Installation or Misuse

To the maximum extent permitted by law, All Auto Parts is not liable for loss, damage, or injury arising from:

  • incorrect installation

  • improper handling

  • modification of the part

  • misuse or abnormal use

  • failure to follow manufacturer or installer instructions

  • use of a part for a vehicle other than the intended application

  • failure caused by related vehicle systems, pre-existing faults, or poor workmanship by third parties

We strongly recommend professional installation for mechanical, electrical, safety-related, and coded components.

13. Electrical and Special Order Parts

Unless required by law, we do not accept returns on:

  • electrical parts

  • ECU modules

  • computers

  • sensors

  • coded components

  • custom orders

  • special order items

  • cut sections

  • body shells

  • deposits paid for sourcing specific parts

These items must be checked carefully before purchase.

14. Warranty Offered by All Auto Parts

Where we choose to offer a store warranty on a part, the warranty period and scope will be stated on the invoice or receipt.

Unless stated otherwise in writing:

  • warranty covers the part only

  • warranty does not cover labour, towing, loss of income, hire car costs, diagnostics, programming, fitting charges, or related expenses

  • warranty is void if the part has been dismantled, altered, overheated, misused, incorrectly installed, or damaged after sale

  • warranty claims require proof of purchase and return of the part for assessment

Any store warranty is in addition to, and not instead of, rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

15. Engines, Gearboxes and Major Components

For engines, transmissions, diffs, and other major mechanical components:

  • professional installation is strongly recommended

  • new oils, seals, gaskets, filters, belts, and service items should be fitted before use where appropriate

  • cooling systems and supporting systems must be checked and serviced

  • failure caused by poor installation, contamination, overheating, neglect, or ancillary component failure is not covered by any voluntary store warranty

Compression, kilometres, service history, and exact prior usage may not always be known for used components unless expressly stated.

16. Exchange Basis / Old Part Return

Some parts may be sold on an exchange basis. Where applicable:

  • the customer must return the old unit within the timeframe advised

  • the old unit must be substantially complete

  • additional charges may apply if the exchange unit is not returned or is badly damaged

17. Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable where:

  • we have specially sourced, removed, held, or reserved a part for the customer

  • the customer changes their mind

  • the customer fails to proceed with the order

This does not affect rights that cannot be excluded by law.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, All Auto Parts’ liability is limited to:

  • repair of the goods

  • replacement of the goods

  • refund of the purchase price

  • resupply of the relevant service

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, towing charges, mechanic costs, delay costs, accommodation costs, or vehicle downtime, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

19. Title to Goods

Ownership of goods does not pass to the customer until full payment has been received and cleared.

20. Fitment Advice and Information

Any advice given by us about suitability, interchange, fitment, or compatibility is based on the information provided to us by the customer and general industry knowledge. Final responsibility for verifying suitability before installation remains with the customer and/or installer.

21. Photos and Product Images

Photos supplied in advertisements, messages, or online listings are for general identification purposes only unless expressly stated to be the exact part.

22. Uncollected or Abandoned Goods

Where goods are left with us for inspection, exchange, or collection and are not collected within a reasonable time after notice, we may charge storage or disposal fees where lawful.

23. Business Customers

Where goods are acquired for business use, the customer acknowledges that some Australian Consumer Law rights may still apply depending on the nature and value of the goods purchased. These Terms are to be read subject to any non-excludable rights under law.

24. Privacy

We may collect personal information such as name, phone number, email, vehicle details, and delivery address for the purpose of supplying goods and services, processing payments, arranging freight, and handling warranty or return claims.

We will handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and our Privacy Policy, where applicable.

25. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including transport disruption, supplier shortage, fire, flood, power outage, industrial action, government action, or system failure.

26. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of Victoria.

27. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will apply to all orders placed after the updated version is published or provided.
